‘Moving into the Sublime’, Artist Profile 50th Edition, article by Kathleen Lin

Incorporating glass processes with photography and the moving image, Kate Baker creates deeply introspective and highly emotional work that touches the transcendent, ethereal realm of raw human emotion. Kathleen Lin explores her work.

Artist Profile, Issue 50, 2020, p.56-59

It was an absolute pleasure to meet with the arts writer Kathleen Lin from the team at Artist Profile to answer some questions she had in preparation for her feature article on my recent work and the ideas behind my studio practice. I have always loved this publication and was thrilled when they contacted me and requested to do a story for their 50th Edition.

Explaining your work and what it means to you can be challenging, so it was great to be interviewed by such a curious writer with a genuine interest in the nuance of a visual arts practice. Thank you to Kathleen and the dedicated team of arts journalists at Artist Profile.
